Our Anti‑Trafficking Work in Hungary featured in Christianity Today

We're honoured to share that our anti-human trafficking work in Hungary has been featured in Christianity Today.

Zsuzsa Mecséri‑McNamara serves as the coordinator of Set Free Movement Hungary and works alongside dedicated partners, professionals, and volunteers. Together, they are committed to preventing human trafficking and supporting vulnerable individuals. The article highlights how European evangelicals are responding to trafficking in different national contexts, and we're grateful that the prevention and awareness work of Set Free Hungary was included.

In Hungary, we focus especially on prevention among vulnerable youth, including children growing up in state care, where the risk of exploitation is significantly higher. Over the past years, we’ve been working across multiple cities, partnering with schools, institutions, and churches to raise awareness and equip professionals.

It’s encouraging to see this work recognized as part of a broader European movement addressing trafficking with compassion, wisdom, and long-term commitment.

This recognition belongs to many — partners, volunteers, educators, and organizations who are working tirelessly to protect vulnerable people and create pathways to freedom.
