Unity in Europe

At a revival connect project in Munich, Germany, hundreds of young people gathered from different denominations and countries across Europe. One of the young women present, Rebecca, shares her experience.

Rebecca currently lives in Italy, as she moved there a few years ago from Ethiopia to study. When she first moved there, she had difficulty finding a spiritual family that could support her. She prayed to God that he could provide even just one friend to study the Bible with. God went above and beyond that request as she was able to start a small group at her university campus. It expanded from just 5 to 6 people to upwards of 50 people in attendance. She later moved to a new city but was able to pass the group to new leadership, so the group continues today. 

Rebecca spoke of not being able to walk your spiritual journey alone. You need people that will come alongside you. In a humbling moment at the revival connect event, she was able to see all of God’s people coming together as one in unity. She was not aware that God was moving in similar ways across the continent. It started with just a few faithful young people and grew to larger groups coming to Christ and growing together.  

Her message was that a powerful wave of revival is happening. God is working in small pockets in corners of the earth, and each of those moments is adding up- that all who call on the name of Jesus will be saved. We might not always be aware of it, but God is on the move.
